Styling | Envelope skirts

Envelope skirts are very flattering to a women's body; elongating the legs even if you are petite. It's no surprise that these skirts have hit the runways already. These skirts have been named 'SKORTS' as they are a skirt and a short at the same time. Skorts come in many different colours and designs, shapes and sizes appealing to every women's figure. 

Here is an outfit idea to style Skorts. If you're not a fan of high pointed heels then opt for some sneakers or some wedged high tops. They give you a casual look but still classy because of the flattering skirt.

A great thing about these is that they have pockets! Not very exciting but you rarely see skirts with pockets and I don't know about you, I like to keep my keys and phone on me all the time.

Turquoise Paradise

Hey! 

Recently I've been loving the colour turqouise; a mix between green and blue - one of my favourite colours.

I love turquoise on anything - my walls are painted turquoise because it makes me feel so calm and relaxed. It kind of reminds me of the Caribbean sea. 

I also love the turquoise tie dye hair. I am legit in love with it.

Style Obsession | Perrie Edwards

Hiya, I'm back with a new style crush and its none other than the beautiful PERRIE EDWARDS! If you haven't heard of her she is a member of the girl group, Little Mix, and is the girlfriend/fiance of 1D boy Zayn Malik.

As you can see from the pictures above, Perrie has a very versatile and stunning fashion sense. From a preppy, girly outfit to an all-black sexy badass. It's safe to say that Perrie has caught and appealed the eyes of many fans and fits in all types of clothing genres; whilst still looking absolutely flawless.

In this photo, Perrie is rocking the cute but stylish school girl skirt paired with a plain black crop top. To accentuate the outfit, she added a statement necklace.

         

Another thing I LOVE about Perrie is her constant change in her hair colours. From a hot pink to blonde, she still looks beautiful as ever. I think it's safe to say that Perrie is a risk taker and doesn't care what other people think about her; making me respect and love her even more.

In a lot of Perrie's outfits, she accessories her outfit with either a beanie, bracelet ,necklace, rings etc.

Another noticeable accessory she wears is head chains/flower crowns. Flower crowns give a person that boho look and make any outfit look cute. Head chains and flower crowns are very cheap - can be found anywhere. However if you don't want to buy it, you can easily DIY it. They are very easy and don't require a lot of materials. There are loads of tutorials on YouTube.

I'm Summer Lovin' .... BANDANAS

Forget headbands, bandanas have slowly creeped it's ways to the fashion world. From being used to tie hair out of the way when doing house duties, to a trendy fashion statement that's caught the eyes of both men and women.

Bandanas have left a hispter-look impression that completes a casual and lazy outfit. As you can see, many celebs have been seen rocking this statement look from 1D boy Harry Styles  (<3) to the adorable Ariana Grande.

There are many different ways to style a bandana but my favourite way is tying it at the front with a high top bun.

Spring/Summer Trends 2014

The weather here in UK has been great and with great weather comes great outfits. So here is a quick sum up of some of the trends that I have been seeing lately out on high-streets and runways.

                    Kimono
This festival-friendly piece of clothing would look great as a swimsuit cover up or to just give your outfit a flowy and Boho look. Opt for a pastel floral or a tie-dye fall out fringe..

Romper/Jumpsuits

This item of clothing has been embraced on the red carpet from Kate Moss to Ashley Benson . Rompers are very versatile; they can be paired with a blazer and a belt or on its own with some fancy jewlery for a night out. And can we please talk about how comfortable these are.

Patterned trousers

Printed trousers may seem like a risky trend, but with the right pairing they will look fabulous . I personally like to pair them with a plain top as the trousers are very busy and cause attention, you want to tone it down a little.

Crop tops

I have seen these countless times. The reason why is because these little fellas are so compatible with any body shape. They come in many different shapes and sizes; if you don't want to show of a lot of skin, wear a loose top. They can be paired with anything from high waisted jeans, to mini skirts to maxi skirts
